The lungs continue to develop, and the fetus may begin to practice breathing movements by inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid.
The fetus’s bones also harden and the fetus’s taste buds begin to develop, and it may be able to taste the amniotic fluid.
The fetus is growing and almost fills the space in your abdomen. You may be able to see your belly rippling as your baby kicks hard from inside.
