Week 22 

The length of the fetus is about 27.8cm and the weight is about 430g. The fetus has already begun to practice breathing movements, although the lungs are not yet fully developed. The fetus can now hear more complex sounds, and may even respond to certain voices or sounds. 

Symptoms 

You may easily feel backache, headache and some pregnant women also experience hemorrhoids. You may also find fine lines or stretch marks on the abdomen, thighs and hips.

Tips for you 

Constipation can cause hemorrhoids. If you have hemorrhoids caused by constipation, eat foods that are high in fiber. Including fruits, vegetables, wheat-based foods such as wholemeal bread and drinking plenty of water can help reduce constipation and hemorrhoids. It is important that you continue regular prenatal care at this stage, including ultrasound examinations to monitor fetal development.

If you find that your stretch marks have started to appear, don’t worry, use balms and creams that contain shea butter, Vitamin C & E to reduce the effects of stretch marks. Legumes also benefit you a lot during pregnancy. It is rich in folate and protein. Practice eating beans if there is no allergy.

Panjang janin adalah kira-kira 27.8cm dan berat lebih kurang 430g. Janin sudah mula mengamalkan pergerakan pernafasan, walaupun paru-paru belum berkembang sepenuhnya. Janin kini boleh mendengar bunyi yang lebih kompleks, malah mungkin bertindak balas kepada suara atau bunyi tertentu.

 

Simptom

Anda mungkin mudah terasa sakit belakang, sakit kepala malah sesetengah wanita hamil juga mengalami masalah buasir. Anda juga mungkin mengesan jalur halus atau stretch mark dibahagian perut, peha dan pinggul. 

 

Tips Buat Anda

Sembelit boleh menyebabkan buasir. Jika anda mengalami masalah buasir berpunca daripada sembelit, makan makanan yang tinggi serat. Termasuklah buah-buahan, sayur-sayuran, makanan berasaskan gandum seperti roti wholemeal dan minum banyak air boleh membantu mengurangkan masalah sembelit dan buasir. Adalah penting untuk anda meneruskan penjagaan prenatal yang kerap pada peringkat ini, termasuklah pemeriksaan ultrasound bagi memantau perkembangan janin.

Sekiranya anda dapati stretch mark anda telah mula muncul, jangan khuatir, gunakan balm dan krim yang mengandungi shea butter, Vitamin C & E bagi mengurangkan kesan stretch mark. Kekacang juga banyak memberi manfaat kepada anda semasa hamil. Ia kaya dengan folat dan protein. Amalkan makan kekacang sekiranya tiada alahan.
