Q1: Do I need a referral from a doctor?
A: No referral is required. You can book directly with us online or via WhatsApp. However, if you have a referral letter from your doctor, you may bring it along for reference.
Q2: How do I book an ultrasound appointment?
A: You can book through our online appointment system or the Flabee Care App. Your booking will be confirmed via email upon payment of the booking fee. For any enquiries, please contact our customer service team.
Q3: Can I walk in without an appointment?
A: Walk-ins are not recommended as we prioritize customers with appointments. Please check with our customer service before coming, and make an online booking to secure your slot.
Q4: Where are Sonobee centres located?
A: We operate 61 branches nationwide, covering Klang Valley, Petaling Jaya, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kota Bharu, and more.
Q5: Do you provide home ultrasound services?
A: Yes, we offer home visit scans in Klang Valley (minimum 4 pax required). Please book at least one week in advance.

A: Yes, all Sonobee sonographers are professionally trained and certified. For patient comfort and privacy, our sonographers are female. Should a male sonographer be scheduled, patients will be informed in advance.

A: Yes. Ultrasound is safe, non-invasive, and commonly used throughout pregnancy for fetal monitoring.
Q8: Can my partner or family accompany me during a scan?
A: Yes, especially during pregnancy scans, we allow companions to join for comfort and shared experience.
Q9: What preparations are needed before my scan?
A: Preparation requirements vary by scan. Details and required actions for each package are provided during the online booking process.
Q10: How long is the waiting time?
A: Waiting time is typically 30–60 minutes, depending on the package selected. Each package comes with an assigned time slot to ensure a smooth experience. With our VIP package, you’ll enjoy priority service with little to no waiting time—usually under 5 minutes.

A: Pricing starts at RM100. Combo and full-body scans offer greater value. Radiologist reports are available at RM30 per body part.
Q14: Can I claim your services through insurance?
A: Some providers may reimburse your scan. We provide official receipts for personal claims.
Q15: Are your corporate health programs HRDF claimable?
A: Yes, we offer HRDF-eligible ultrasound screening packages for companies and employee wellness programs.

Q17: Can I receive my scan reports digitally?
A: Yes. All ultrasound images and reports will be sent directly to the Flabee Care App. Simply download the app to view, store, and manage your scan results digitally. It’s fast, secure, and paperless.
Q18: Do you offer 4D or 5D ultrasound imaging?
A: Yes, our advanced maternity scans include 5D ultrasound for vivid, detailed imaging of your baby.
Training & Careers
Q19: Do you offer training for future sonographers?
A: Yes. In collaboration with Dacas College, we offer MQA-accredited and NOSS DKM Level 4 Medical Sonography programmes, with hands-on clinical training conducted at Sonobee branches.
