Week 7
Your uterus is growing to accommodate the fetus in the womb. The size of the embryo is the size of a grape. At this stage, many organs and systems of the embryo begin to form and develop. Among them are the eyelids and ears, the digestive tract is also being formed, including the stomach, esophagus and intestines.
The heart also beats and pumps blood through the developing circulatory system.
Symptoms
For those of you who are still experiencing morning sickness, don’t worry because morning sickness will usually go away as soon as you enter the second trimester. Other symptoms are sensitive breasts, significant emotional changes, more sensitive to smells, some women may experience a ‘cream’ on the stomach.
Tips for you
It is important that you take care of your health and content by eating a healthy diet, doing appropriate exercise and avoiding harmful substances such as alcohol and tobacco.

During the 7-week ultrasound session, several important things can be detected, including the gestational sac. It is a fluid-filled sac that surrounds the developing fetus. The embryo can usually be seen as a small flickering shape inside the gestational sac.
